LISTEN FOR THIS LYRIC
The second verse is my favorite. Where I talk about him moving the trailer home into a gated community.
FROM THE ARTIST
I grew up in a trailer home. My dad still lives in that same trailer home and almost has it paid off after about 30 years. He’s had several failed relationships and a lot of changes, but he’s never moved or bought a new house. So my siblings and I one day were joking about how that trailer home is his soulmate.
2. Throwin’ My Life Away
BEFORE YOU PRESS PLAY
This song doesn’t have to be specifically about the music industry. Any working woman can relate.
LISTEN FOR THIS LYRIC
I genuinely love this whole song but I thought it was great to be able to incorporate the word “bitch” into a song without is sounding to explicit.
FROM THE ARTIST
I have been through a lot as a woman in the music industry. This song is about my feelings and experiences associated with that.

LISTEN FOR THIS LYRIC
“Not even prayers can protect the rich and the old.”
FROM THE ARTIST
Wrote this during Covid. Its main purpose was to capture the eerie feeling of driving through cities that are normally extremely busy and finding them almost completely deserted.

LISTEN FOR THIS LYRIC
“But they let me in and they pay me cash and I’m a pretty big deal for as long as the night lasts.”
FROM THE ARTIST
Back when I was playing music full time I barely slept at home. I was mostly being a road dog and sleeping on people’s couches. This whole song is honestly just a day in the life of a full time gigging musician. All of us are pretty good at bull shitting our way through life, but put us in a normal 9-5 and we’ll probably be miserable and fail.
9. Vivid Dream

LISTEN FOR THIS LYRIC
“What brought me here I can’t recall. Guess it’s not my time to know. Why some people get it all. While most people don’t. “
FROM THE ARTIST
After chasing music long enough, at one point you just wake up and think “is this really what I want to do for forever?” I woke up one day just not feeling like myself and like I was stuck in a bad dream I needed to get out of. I was barely seeing success while kids whose parents had money were going viral online. I wasn’t happy anymore.

“I love her like rain loves Seattle. Like weeds love making wishes that fly.”
FROM THE ARTIST
I wrote this song for my youngest daughter. The song is a lot like her. It starts out quiet and reserved. But then once you get to know her she has a huge personality.
